Very happy to finally share my latest portfolio piece! The Sony TC-510-2 tape recorder from Mindhunter. As a huge fan of Mindhunter, it was important for me to match the level of detail shown in the closeups of the intro. to achieve this, I employed my usual high to low-poly workflow. To get the texture detail I wanted, I used 3 4k texture sets. I worked really hard to gather good references and arrange them adequately which really helped me add the littlest of details. even though I worked under a tight deadline considering this was a 2-week project, Im still very happy with the final result, Thank you to all my friends and peers for their useful feedback during the production of this prop.
